Our jet scrubbers provide a compact and versatile solution for air pollution control by combining three essential functions within a single system:
Pressure boosting – no additional fan required, making the system ideal for explosive atmospheres
Dust removal – efficient separation of dust particles and aerosols
Gas absorption – removal of gaseous contaminants
How does it work?
Jet scrubbers utilize a high-velocity liquid nozzle that creates a vacuum effect, drawing the gas stream into the system. As a result, a separate fan can often be eliminated, which is a significant advantage when handling flammable gases or operating in hazardous areas (ATEX zones).
As the gas passes through the scrubber at high velocity, the scrubbing liquid is intensely atomized and mixed with the gas stream. Dust particles and gaseous pollutants are efficiently captured and removed. The cleaned gas exits the scrubber at an elevated pressure and subsequently passes through a downstream separator, where entrained liquid droplets are removed.
Depending on the application, the treated gas can then be discharged directly to a stack or routed to downstream process equipment.
