Focus on Laboratory Exhaust Air, Energy Efficiency and ATEX Solutions

From 24 to 27 March 2026, HLU exhibited at analytica in Munich for the first time, the international trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology.

The focus of our exhibition appearance was on solutions for the safe capture and conveyance of laboratory exhaust air, with particular emphasis on AVX HF R 15/17 plastic fans, ATEX compliance, energy-efficient EC motors and our plastic air handling units. 
The strong interest in our products demonstrated the growing demand for flexible, chemically resistant and energy-efficient exhaust air solutions for laboratory applications.

Many discussions centred on the specific challenges of modern laboratories. In addition to the safe capture of fumes and gases from fume cupboards, 24-hour exhaust air systems for safety and chemical storage cabinets are becoming increasingly important. 
Safety, chemical resistance and reliable continuous operation are key requirements in these applications.

Particular interest was shown in our ATEX-compliant plastic fans. The AVX series offers high availability, short delivery times and optimised life-cycle costs. 
At the same time, the fans stand for high energy efficiency, operational reliability and dependable continuous operation.

Our plastic air handling units for laboratory and central exhaust air systems also attracted considerable interest. 
They enable safe and energy-efficient air handling as well as heat recovery from chemically contaminated exhaust air.

Analytica demonstrated the importance of safe, energy-efficient and reliable exhaust air technology for modern laboratory environments.
