Thanks to the dynamically adjustable venturi throat, the scrubber can continuously adapt to changing operating conditions, ensuring optimal cleaning performance while minimizing energy consumption.
How does it work?
The contaminated gas stream passes through a venturi pipe with a variable throat section, where a scrubbing liquid is injected into the gas flow. The resulting fine droplets and intense turbulence enable highly efficient capture and removal of dust particles.
The key advantage of this system is the adjustable throat geometry, which allows to regulate the pressure drop according to process requirements. This ensures optimum efficiency, even under fluctuating operating conditions and varying gas flow rates.
The cleaned gas exits the scrubber, while the collected particulate matter remains in the scrubbing liquid, where it can be further treated, recycled, or disposed of as required.
More than just dust removal
In addition to highly efficient fine-particle collection, the adjustable-throat venturi scrubber can also be used for:
- Cooling hot gas streams (quenching)
