Two main applications
✔ Pollutant abatement: Perfectly designed for gas absorption with quicklime or limestone suspensions. The open, internal-free construction ensures maximum resistance to fouling and deposits, drastically reducing maintenance downtime.
✔ Gas cooling (quenching): Hot gases are cooled through the evaporation of finely atomized liquid.
How does it work?
In a spray scrubber, the gas stream is contacted with finely dispersed liquid droplets, enabling efficient mass and heat transfer. Pollutants are absorbed while the gas temperature is reduced in a controlled manner.
For hot gas applications, a continuous liquid film protects the column wall from thermal stress. This design allows even highly corrosive hot gases to be treated economically and reliably.
