A corrosion-resistant plastic centrifugal fan with a PEs housing in RAL 7036 with a sintered design and a single inlet. The inlet nozzle has a seal that serves as an inspection opening and is easy to dismantle. There is a condensate drain at the lowest point of the housing and splinter protection made of plastic-coated wire mesh in accordance with German accident prevention regulations (UVV).
The impeller features backward-curved blades and is statically and dynamically balanced to at least balance quality grade G 6.3 (DIN ISO 21940-11). It is mounted to the motor shaft via a taper-lock bush.
The fan frame is made of heavy-duty welded galvanised steel and has a motor support plate. The frame is suitable for accommodating the fan housing with impeller and the motor.

Special requirements apply to exhaust-air technology in environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. Our HLU centrifugal fans are ATEX-certified and have been specifically developed for safe use in Zones 2 and Zone 1, complying with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.

These fans are ideal for extracting chemically aggressive and potentially explosive air mixtures owing to the use of flame-retardant, electrically dissipative plastics (PE-el/PPs-el) and Ex motors.
