How does it work?
The contaminated gas stream is passed through a specially designed venturi pipe while a scrubbing liquid is injected into the gas flow. The resulting droplets and intense turbulence create excellent contact between particles and liquid, enabling highly efficient dust capture and removal.
The cleaned gas exits the scrubber, while the collected particulate matter remains in the scrubbing liquid, where it can be further treated, recycled, or disposed of according to process requirements.
More than just dust removal
In addition to highly efficient fine-particle collection, the venturi scrubber can also be used for:
- Cooling hot gas streams (quenching)
- Absorption of gaseous pollutants
This makes the venturi scrubber a versatile solution for a wide range of gas treatment applications.
