Evaporators are used to concentrate electrolytes in process tanks, as various electrolytes there are "carried off" by the workpieces to be handled and hence diluted. The evaporator evaporates the electrolyte-bound flushing water.
This gives rise to a concentration of the electrolyte content and causes the following:
- Lowering of operating costs
- Reduction in waste water and electroplating sludge
- Extension of the useful life of electrolytes
